Saturday 29 August 2026 · London
1,000 women.
One day.
We are attempting to gather a thousand women in a single day, in the name of empowerment.
How to take part
There are four ways to be part of this.
You can simply be there on the day, and know you are in the book. You can walk away with your digital portrait too. You can own the book, with a tote bag and gifts for being part of it. And if you are a previous guest, part of our Inner Circle, you can join the Founders Circle.

Why we gather
Make history. Gather together. Change lives, one woman at a time.
Let us show the world what women are capable of when we come together. Will you help us bring a thousand complete strangers into a single room, in a single day, in the name of empowerment?
- 01
Before the big day
You'll get emails with inspiration for your portrait: different styles and looks you could lean towards, so you walk in knowing exactly what you want.
- 02
The morning of
Arrive early. Head to Mare Street Market, open from 9am, for an atmosphere like nowhere else. Cafes, restaurants and bars, indoor and outdoor, brunch, cocktails, whatever you fancy. Real energy to start the day.
- 03
Your slot
When it's your time, head up to the studio and have your portrait taken. Then back out into the day.
- 04
Afterwards
Keep it going. Come up to our rooftop, Nettle360, head back to Mare Street, or make the most of the rest of your day, however you like.
- 05
After the event
If you chose a portrait option, Digital, Iconic or Founders, you'll receive your retouched digital first.
Then the albums go into production, and pre-ordered books are hand-signed. You'll collect yours in person at our book launch. And we'll celebrate together when we move into our Farringdon home, with a grand exhibition of the iconic series, the books there with us.
Our next chapter
So why are we trying to set a world record?
For years, Body & Soul has lived inside rooms in someone else's building. We have squeezed more than 2,200 women through our East London and Australian doors.
The plan, since we arrived three years ago, was that 2026 and 2027 would be our America years. I spent six years building an America fund, with a map of Austin, San Diego, San Francisco and New York circled on it.
But the women here pulled harder on me than any plane ticket. I felt more inspired by the women in this city than I have anywhere else. I realised I wasn't done in London.
So we did the opposite of everything we said we'd do. We took the America fund and put a deposit on our own 3,000 sq ft Body & Soul home in central London instead.
That is what the 1,000-woman record day and the fine-art book are for. To celebrate that decision, and to invite a small group of you to be the founding chapter of this new home.
A record. A book. A home. Our next chapter. Together.
